Prabha Mallya draws and writes for books and other printed ephemera. She is at her happiest when fussing around with inks and acrylic colours, and frequently has black fingernails. Apart from drawing and stuff, she enjoys drawing little children being kidnapped by old people and comic books which have no real panel flow.

Prabha, I just finished reading Mitali Perkins new book, The Secret Keeper (http://www.uread.com/book/secret-keeper-mitali-perkins/9789350290477) and that’s how I looked up your work. You’re certainly a promising designer to watch out for. Keep up the good work!

Hello ! I am a teacher in France. I work in the library of a “Collège” in the East.My pupils are between 11 and 16 years old. I write regularly articles in a blog named CHEPAKOILIRE for them. I try to show them a lot of things to discover in youthlitterature, in litterature, in cinema or in culture in general. And i have newly discovered your site as I was writing about the poem “The raven” from E. A. POE. I was searching for other illustrations as the ones from Edgar MANET. I’ve found your. I like your work and what is inspiring you. I have put your “poe-raven” in my article here ( http://lewebpedagogique.com/chepakoilire/2011/07/28/le-corbeau-de-edgar-allan-poe-en-ligne/). Is it a problem ? In that case, tell it to me. I will simply choose another illustration. I suppose you don’t understand french. But you can taste the links included in my article and you’ll see, there is one to your blog. I hope to have soon news from you.
PS : Sorry for my english, it’s a pity ! -
great to see your work finally in one spot…you need to move over the devian art work as well. hope all is well.
